Here's a tip, store plastic wrap in the freezer and it will never tangle:

Good luck!
What kind of plastic wrap and how is it tangled? I just lift up the length of the box by hand and slowly pull it out until straight. If it's all messed up and sticks to itself in too many places, after getting it out, I start over and sometimes put the end against a counter top and pull out what I need.
I don't think it is possible if you mean clingfilm.......
Find the end witn a piece of masking tape an go from there.
If your patience outlasts your frustration and you succeed try to place a strip of paper the length of the roll between the roll and the rolled off portion before you cut it. The idea being to prevent the cut edge from sticking to the roll. Or you could use masking tape by putting the sticky side on the cut edge so that the non-sticky side lays on the roll. Just make sure everyone who uses it knows the purpose of the slip of paper.
If you keep your plastic wrap in the fridge it won’t, stick.
I also buy glad wrap instead of the cheap wrap.
