Victoria Larsen Stencils on Nov 18, 2015I sounds like you might already have the mirrors (is that correct?). If so, try scouring your local craft store for 2 24x24" frame and even if they don't match, paint them the same color and insert the mirror as you would any canvas picture.Helpful Reply

Jean Myles on Nov 18, 2015I'm not sure we understand your Question. If you already have the frames and glass then you need to go to a glass store and they will help you . If you don't have the frames then this is what I would do .Go to your local home improvement center or a lumber retailer and explain this to an employee . They will usually show you several choices and the will even cut the wood you chose to size and tell you what else you might need.Helpful Reply

Mabeline on Nov 18, 2015Sounds like you have the mirror and already cut them to the size you want. If so, I would go to your local thrift stores and look at the frames available. Look at the empty frames, but also at the ones with pictures in them because you can swap the picture out and add the mirror. And as mentioned in another post, you can always paint the frames to match your decor.Helpful Reply

Lee on Nov 18, 2015Cutting the mirror would be the hard part, Congratulations you have done that!!!. they sell frames sides in pairs like at Hobby Lobby etc. just buy two 24" sides. Or buy the lumber found in the trim dept at you friendly big box store. Maybe they will cut it for you. Gotta ask. Hope you will post your finished project.Helpful Reply

Duv310660 on Nov 19, 2015Usually it is the mirror that is bevelled, not the frame. Other than that, the mirror goes into the frame just like a print and glass go into a picture frame. You have to put a back onto it as well, to hold it flush to the frame and protect the glass.Helpful Reply

Beth H. Makemeprettyagain.blogspot on Nov 20, 2015Are you asking how to frame the mirror? Maybe post some pics so we can get an exact idea. If you have the mirrors and want to make a custom from with mitered edges, then just cut your wood to frame the mirror. Thats what we did with this mirror. I Had some left over cherry wood and my husband measured and cut it to fit the mirror. This was a beveled mirror. You can use and wood or casing and any width.Helpful Reply
