Clean smooth surface and dry well. Use 3M Command hanging strips. They have different sizes and weights.
Look for hardwall hangers like these. They come in different sizes and weight capacity.

If items you want to hang are not too heavy can use a frame work of pvc pipe. Secure pipe with flanges to floor and ceiling-- drill holes in pipe to create a grid work with wire, chain, more pipe -whatever to hang things from. If items are heavy can even use metal pipe or conduit. Paint pipes to match décor.
This is a great idea. Thanks so much for your reply. A little help though, for the life of me can't picture a flange. I'm sure I know it just isn't coming to me. And if painted will blend in so well. You've helped me solve a problem i've been trying to come up with a fix for for some time!! Thank you!
Masonry nails can be hammered into surface
