Jonnie Hammon on Mar 07, 2016Tension rods work, the problem is it's length. If so, cut away one or both end. Use the ends of the rod, where the co ers for the metal are, remove coverings, attach them to the new shorter rod, and use it ,that way.Helpful Reply

LD on Mar 07, 2016Here is a link to a InterDesign Forma Paper Towel Holder for Kitchen/Wall Mount/Under Cabinet Mount in Brushed Stainless Steel on Amazon. It like the cheap plastic ones you use to be able to find in the stores. http://www.amazon.com/InterDesign-Forma-Paper-Holder-Kitchen/dp/B000KIHMR6/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1457365883&sr=8-3&keywords=paper+towel+rack+wall+mount1 marked as helpful Reply

Bonnie on Mar 08, 2016Use draw slide bars and attach the stationary ones on each side of the opening. The other slide bar usually on the draws, drill holes on each side big enough for a standard screw to fit in. The screw in the screws on each end of a wooden rod, leaving 1/4" of the screws grooves showing. You can make several of these rods and put on tinfoil, Saran Wrap ect. behind the paper towels which you can access very easily by pulling out the draw bar system you installed. To connect the rods just insert the screws in the holes you made on the sliding bar.Helpful Reply

Zoemurr on Jul 24, 2016You have probably finished this already, but what my builder did was made a shorter drawer that we could store extra paper towels and trash bags in it. Then he attached this https://www.amazon.com/Kamenstein-Perfect-Mount-Holder-Stainless/dp/B0024AKCTS/ref=sr_1_2?s=kitchen&ie=UTF8&qid=1469377906&sr=1-2-spons&keywords=paper+towel+holder&psc=1 It works great! Ours is in the island above the trash.Helpful Reply
