What kind of knobs should I use for my farmhouse style cabinets?

Looking for knobs for my kitchen cabinets. I recently painted them a cream/off white color and would like something to fit in with the farm house. We are a John Deere family and raise both Holstein and Brown Swiss with a few Jersey. We are also a very Patriotic family. I thought of using some old knobs from the old barn, but they are all too big. Also I will need a total of 20 knobs.Does anyone have any suggestion?Thank you

Hey Mary: You can get some plain unfinished wooden knobs from the home improvement or hobby store, paint or stain them and mod podge some pictures of flags, cows or chickens on them. I love chickens, I have a whole wall of chicken pictures in my kitchen! I like cows, too, but not when they blow their noses on me:( Theknobs come in several sizes and are fairly inexpensive. You can get pictures from farm books or farm catalogues, or just about anywhere, and then put shellac or something on them to keep them shiny or whatever finish you want. Good luck

If you have a Hobby Lobby in your area, they have a great selection of knobs. Amazon is a great resource also.
