We made little squirrels one year with pinecones. Can make snowmen, santa clause, Reindeer, Christmas trees, Fall tree, wreaths, centerpiece, and just about any animal! See this link for some cool ideas! https://www.pinterest.com/search/pins/?q=pinecone%20crafts&rs=typed&term_meta[]=pinecone%7Ctyped&term_meta[]=crafts%7Ctyped

Don’t forget to debug them first. Put them in a bucket of warm water and 1/2c white vinegar and soak for 15-20 min. If you want them to open back up, preheat oven to 200degrees and place them on a foil lined cookie sheet and bake for 30 min., if you want them to remain closed dry overnight on newspaper.
