Since it's a small bathroom, I'd go with lighter colors and a large mirror above the sink to make the space feel larger.

Hello Tyree! Since the bathroom is small I think using both brick and wood slats on opposite walls will make it look smaller. I would just use one idea but not both. The other wall can be painted and you can add some decorative art. I would stay with lighter paint colors!
I agree, pick one of the textures and use it on only one wall for an accent if you can. If you need to cover both walls, still just pick one of the two textures you mentioned. Good lighting will make a lot of difference too. Light paint colors, and even a few good quality faux plants will help make the room comfortable.
I love framed prints in the bathroom. They add warmth and you can get a printable online for free and paint an old frame.
