Liquid nails (like paneling adhesive) works great. There are also small decorative L-shaped screws, very attractive assortment (but not necessary for support).
get crown molding that has a lip. frame the mirrors, miter the corners and paint. nail to the wall with finishing screws or nails
I bought strips of velcro and cut it in 6 inch pieces. then applied to wood and mirror.. this way, there is no residue if you want to removed them..
