What is the best way to remove grout?

I did a project using sea shells and grout for a table top. Some of the shells were too thick and the project has to be redone.

I just renovated a glass mosaic with grout. I used my Dremmel with Carbide bit to remove the grout. The grout spacing was not large so this worked great for my project. Dremmel also has a special grout bit.
