What kind of string/twine should I use to make sea shell wind chimes?

I have a bunch of shelLos and things I have collected and would like to a durable wind chime with them. I have 20 lb fishing line and some twine. Which should I use?

Fishing line , the twine will rot too fast outside .
Fishing line would be best in my opinion.

The fishing line will last longer outside. The twine will likely turn grey and root first.
Twine for indoors. Fishing line for outdoors. Spray the shells and things with one coat of a poly sealer. They will still chime, in their own way. Best wishes š
