What kind of string/twine should I use to make sea shell wind chimes?

I have a bunch of shelLos and things I have collected and would like to a durable wind chime with them. I have 20 lb fishing line and some twine. Which should I use?

Fishing line , the twine will rot too fast outside . -

Fishing line would be best in my opinion. -

The fishing line will last longer outside. The twine will likely turn grey and root first. -

Twine for indoors. Fishing line for outdoors. Spray the shells and things with one coat of a poly sealer. They will still chime, in their own way. Best wishes š
