What's the best hot glue (gun) to use in the tropics?

Glue seems to perish so fast in the heat / humidity; I wonder if anyone has any tips / experience with hot glue gun projects.

I don't know about hot glue guns, but E600 glue withstands heat really nicely

I tried E6000 to glue Dollar Tree stones to jars to make luminaries, but the stones kept sliding off. So I returned it to WalMart and bought Gorilla Glue hot glue sticks....did the trick.

I lucked out at a thrift store and found an Aileen's glue gun and she has a booklet that tells what kind of glue to use for different projects. She also has different tips for it, but when I got it, there was only the one tip. I am very happy with it.

I guess it depends on what you are gluing. If you need hot glue, use the high temp sticks, w an appropriate gun. What are you trying to glue? Let us know so we can give you better feed back.

its not for a particular thing, just to have for various projects that might come up - I see so many projects to do on here, that use

a hot glue gun, so I thought I'd ask Before buying one.

A few years ago I had one to glue silk flowers onto a wooden frame, but the glue fell apart after a month or so.

I live in the tropics where it's hot and humid, and slot of glues don't last long.

Can you keep the glue sticks in the fridge til you use them? Definately use a high temp glue or gorilla glue sticks for projects but for keeping the sticks in tact id keep them in the fridge so they dont get compromised before use. ❤
