I can tell you that securing the mirrors with liquid nail from Home depot or Lowe’s does work. I had an entire wall done inmy home, never had a problem.
Talk to your local glass retailer he will know about weight and effective size this is not diy you don't want beveled glass.
Buy full length mirrors from Walmart. Take off trim. Adhere to wall with Liquid nail.
