Boho chic? Curious to see what others will say! ☺
I like shabby chateau if it's posh stuff.
Trashy? Lol
Maybe Boho_Chic (bohemian homeless to be exact) or Hippie Chic but really, Shabby Chic is still a good way to describe the whole Parisian Flea Market style I just adore! What do you think?
I'm too poor to buy Ikea....LOL! LOL! Just had to pick on you a little.
Boho Chic is that hippie look from the 70s.
Bought most everything at resale shops or painted.
NEVER!!! Shabby chic to me is the best way to express creativity without being glued to a style like Colonial or Modern. Its like the best way to display garage sale treasure, antiques, home crafted items and mae your home look
stunning!
Shabby chic is a style a la (forget her name now) it is a particular look, rubbed back paint, faded, loosely fitted slipcovers, wicker furniture mixed in with wood, etc. You can be your own style without a name. You can integrate garage sale, home crafted (which in the case of an artist IS her work!) etc and make your home your own.
Boho chic incorporates more ethnic fabrics, design, colors and imported goods. I think shabby chic is still a thing and closest to country.
