I took a frame I liked from the goodwill store , I removed the glass and put thick cardboard in it's place and glued corks all over the edges and on the cardboard and left just enough space to put a great picture of friends sharing a celebration together looks awesome.
I've used one for holding stick pins while I was sewing.
So many things... My favorite idea is to use a photo frame and glue the corks in a design like herringbone or parquet. You could also glue them upright so you can see the cool design on the tops. You could make trivets in a similar way.
