    please clairify.....a kit for what?

  • Depends on what you are trying to make. Craft and hobby stores are a good start. I find things to craft with at the dollar stores too . . . Any store I walk into, I look for things to use.

Yes, I agree with Dfm, would need clarification of what the DIY project was first in order to steer you in the right direction.

If you are looking for craft supplies, check out dollerama for inexpensive supplies. Michaels also has lots of different types of craft supplies, though probably more expensive. If you ar pe looking for diy building projects, Home Depot or Lowes or Copps Building supplies. Some of the home hardware stores are building supply stores

I find many at dollerama and michaels and wal-mart the odd time. I guess it all depends on what you r project is. Thrift stores are also great for picking up items.

Please tell me what you are looking for and where do you live (province, city...)? Canada is a huge country!! In fact, it is the 2nd largest country of the entire world! :)

Depending on where you live in Canada, as people seem to use one more than the other, check both Kijiji, or Craigslist, as a source for all kinds of stuff at generally inexpensive prices. No tax, usually cash only, there is also a Free section.
