Easier way to cut crown molding?
Is there an easy way to do this? Did some reading on Curtin outside right and the angles and inside left. I am just not getting this to fit right. I know most walls and ceilings aren't perfectly straight but I am struggling with it and don't want to ruin any more trim pieces. Help!!

Hi Slm,
Ask an experienced carpenter to do it for you...........
Slm, I did the shoe moulding in my previous home with the help of my builder friend. It is not an easy thing to learn. One tool that did come in handy was a coping saw, for those edges of the wall that just aren't quite straight or a little bit off. That helped a great deal. It's not just as easy as cutting at an angle and putting it up.
