Need to change color on a wall of dark brown shiny cabinets,any ideas?

I painted laminate last fall. They were white but I'm sure the process works the same. The secret. LET THEM CURE BETWEEN COATS! at least 24 hours. No matter what the experts say it does matter. Do you want contrast or the same color pallet?

Vanilla, Almond or Antique white are often the better colors for cabinet interiors, because the contrast of the light color, less tends to cause eye strain when you are peeking in the cupboard.

Hi Les. I'm Cindy. Since your cabinetry is so dark, I would go with a soft shade of blue. I love the classic look of soft blue and dark brown. They make a good combination. You could introduce more shades of blue with pillows, rugs and art. Wishing you all the best.
