What is the best way to remove very old wallpaper from plaster walls?

Hi Jackie! Having recently been doing this, I found scrapers and steamer were my best friend.

  Hi! I took a bucket of clear water and some magic eraser sponges. You don't want to saturate the plaster, so wring them out and rinse them as they get soiled. If you have a lot of glue residue, you could use Dif spray, which will remove the wallpaper glue, then wipe it down again. Hope that helps!
