Besides replacement, what can I do with wornout vinyl floor in b-room?

Moving into an old shore home and already dumping money into repairs, need something I can do with very sad looking vinyl floor in bathroom, just looks worn and sad but not ready to replace right now. Need a stopgap.

There are great stencils you could use, just paint and pick a great stencil, then poly a sealant and enjoy. Check on Pinterest for ideas. -

How about painting it? Seal it with a couple coats of polyurethane. Or you could paint and stencil over it. -
