How do I change my very slippery bathroom floor?

I recently turned 70 and my balance is a bit wonky. I have already slipped on my bathroom floor and got banged up. Any suggestions to change this would be greatly appreciated.

We got a large bath mat with rubber backing and put in the middle of the bathroom. It just about covers the whole floor. The rubber backing sticks to the tile and doesn't slip. It can be washed and I dry it over an outdoor chair on the deck! The fluffy part dries really quick and the rubber is already dry after the spin. Looks cute, too.
