How do I hang sheetrock on the ceiling?
Due to water damage, we had to tear out the ceiling in one bedroom. After fixing the roof and replacing the insulation, now I need shortcuts/ tips on how to easily install new sheetrock. And how do I make it "blend" with the old sheetrock?

I would like to remove it and do something with the ceiling without damaging the surrounding area and put a new light fixture up.
You can rent a devise that holds the sheet on the ceiling until you secure it with sheet rock screws
You need to ensure that edges of new sheetrock can be fastened to ceiling joists (like original). You don't say how big of a patch you need. You may need to remove more of the old ceiling to fit in new sheetrock and attach to joists. A cheap sheetrock holder is a T-shaped brace that is made from 2x4s.
The seams of the sheetrock need to be covered with sheetrock tape and joint compound, and then the ceiling needs to be re-textured to match.
The 2x4 brace is the cheapest way to go but make sure you put something for traction on the bottom and something like drawer liner or something with traction on the top to prevent sliding and damaging the sheet rock.
