First, before you put new tile in to replace the cracked ones, it’s best to figure out why they cracked in the first place.Your tiles can crack from the mortar bed having voids, from heavy objects dropping on them, even a weak tile can just crack, but you have three tiles in a row with a fairly straight line. You may have movement in your subfloor which means any new tile will also crack. To replace your tiles- Put on safety glasses. Clean all the grout from around each cracked tile. Then carefully tap each cracked tile with a hammer and break them up. Remove all of the pieces of the broken tile and scrape up all the mortar to create a clean substrate. With a notched trowel, lay mortar in the void being sure to cover the entire area. Carefully lay new tile and level with existing floor. Use spacers for grout lines and keep off of area until completely dry. (I like to clean out the extra mortar between tiles if the grout line is full of mortar)Grout your tile with a grout float and wash off with slightly damp sponge until all haze is gone.i hope that helps😊Helpful Reply- See 1 previous

First see if you can match the color, and cut the old one out. Replace it with a new tile. You must have placed new tile on top of old, that's why it cracked.Helpful Reply -

To avoid new tiles cracking and trying to match the tiles I would do this instead. Take a hammer to the cracked tiles and add maybe a few other different colored ones you like that blend well. Then use the broken pieces like tiny tiles and fill the broken spots with broken pieces and grout. To make it look planned you might have to do this with other tiles to make it looked planned. Most home stores have left over tiles from cetian designs on clearance for a steal.Helpful Reply -
