What can I do about a small gap in my laminate floor?

I have a small gap in two places where my lamenet floor butt together.

Due to shrinkage over time? Not to much can be done - unless you pull the lot away from the sides to close the gap and but a trim around the edges of your room - Or Use Gaffer tape or similar in a colour that would match in with your floor or decor(if necessary add more tape in other areas so it is not so obvious) whilst you wait to replace the flooring.............
