Redo, either cover it if there aren't any cracks or holes. Measure the room and go to Homedepot or Lowe's, the paint department, they tell you how much tile you'll need. Make sure each box has the same lot #, so the shade is the same. Buy one extra box, for future repairs,or if you make a mistake. Each tile has an arrow, which tells you which way to lay it down. You start in the middle of the floor and work your way out to the walls.
The easiest/least expensive thing is to paint/stencil the tiles.
