Hello Jr,
We recently had to put repair screws in our newly installed (2015) floors to silence floor squeaks. We filled the gouges from the countersink screws with matching Minwax wax colored crayon pencil. It effectively covered the holes created by the screws —it may work for your gouges too. They come in many colors.

Additionally they do make a putty too, but I have never used that. The minwax wax crayons and markers have always worked nicely for my repair needs.I hope this helps!

Clean the gouge with rubbing alcohol. Smooth wood putty into any gouges or scratches, using the color putty close to the wood color, if you find it. Let the filler dry at least a day, then sand any little edges. Most important: use wood repair markers to make the wood putty look like the floor. There are at least six marker colors, and other permanent markers to get the best match. Let the markers dry a couple of hours, then use a soft cloth to smooth out and polish the former scratch. Use a thin paint brush to brush polyurethane over the scratch. Let the poly dry up to three days. After that, you can clean the scar just as you do the rest of the floor. Best wishes, J.r. ☺️
You could use markers or crayons made for this exact purpose. I have used them before and was happy with results. They are made from a company called RAMPRO. There is a total of 12 pieces in the package: 6 markers and 6 crayons. Colors are maple, oak, cherry, walnut, mahogany, and black. The markers are intended to repair scrapes and scratches. The wax crayons are intended for deep scratches and nail holes. Hope this info helps you. Good luck.
You could try a damp towel and an iron. Place damp towel over scratch, then brown paper bag, place iron on paper bag and maker sure the steam contacts scratch. The wood should swell then you can carefully sand it even with floor and touch up with the same product you sealed your floors with.
