It is important to prep the area before installing the tile or it will be difficult for the tile to stick. What surface are you covering with the tile. There are many different construction adhesives that may hold better that the adhesive on the tile.

As the previous response said, surface prep is essential. That said, at this point I would tackle them one at a time as they pop off. Use Gorilla Glue to replace each one. Be sure to spray the wall surface with water to activate the glue. Or, take them all down, putting wax paper between each tile so they don't get damaged. Then prep the wall and use the adhesive made specifically for the tile you have. (Ceramic , vinyl, etc all require different adhesives) Good luck!

I used a hair dryer to warm the glue on the tiles .Makes it tacker, and a spray glue on the wall. It's been a year and they are still on there

I applied the tiles to walls of a Motorhome on super smooth and sanded painted walls. They popped off as soon as it got cold in the motorhome. Some applied using contact cement and they seem to be staying on much better.

Has anyone applied ultra thin glass mosaic tiles to a motorhome? What adhesive did you use?

I installed vinyl lightweight self stick floor tiles on my wall With construction adhesive. Looked awesome. They fell off. We took them down and added double sided tape. Lasted 4 mos and they are separating again. Maybe it was a bad idea, but it looks so good I‘m seriously considering screws at this point.

It sure does. All my peel and stick 10x10 tiles fell off and took all the paint and some gyprock with them
