Goo Gone
Hello Arlene! Here's what they use to get adhesive off of plywood. I would imagine it would even better on the linoleum under your self stick tiles.

Another vote for Goo Gone!
Vegetable oil will dissolve it and then you will need to clean it a good bit to remove the oil.
Goo Gone will work wonders.
Hi Arlene. I'm Cindy. WD40 removes adhesive. That's what car dealers use to remove the adhesive from price stickers. Good luck Arlene.
Hello Arlene,
Both WD-40 and Goo Gone will work, but so would Surgical Spirit!
Hi Arlene, I'm not where you're based but if you can find a product called Citristrip Adhesive Remover For Floors it really works well.
WD40 or goo gone will work. Or get a solvent from your local hardware store.
