What color area rug do I get to match this room?

We just painted the floors white and painted 3 walls soothing pink and one wall rockstar pink.  Now, what color area rugs do I get? This isnfor my two daughters age 6 and 8.

Just a gray.  It is my favorite color and goes with all colors, just in case later on you want to change the paint color.  Easier and less expensive to change paint colors vs. carpet.

Keep the rug/s white with some movement design hopefully in some pinks. Keep the floor light and open and airy.  It will let their furniture 'float' .

Have you chosen comforters for the room yet?  If not, pick either the rug or comforter then buy the other to pull out a third accent color.  I would go with a floral or pattern of some sort for another layer of texture and interest.  Hope this gets your creative juices flowing!

I would find the bedspreads and curtains first, the pick a color rug to complement them. Or you could use a neutral color rug that would go with most anything.
