What is the best way to remove old carpet glue from linoleum floors?

The carpet was an indoor/outdoor carpet. It has been in my grandparents’ home since the 80's and I need to remove it. My husband is severe COPD and using something with a strong odor is out of the question. My budget is very tight.

there is a great product out there called AFTA that will do a beautiful job ,found at your local flooring supply store. You can also use goof off.
Try goo-gone ,the odor is not that strong...apply and maybe try a blow dryer to soften the adhesive.
