What is the best way to restore color to 37 year old hardwood floors?

When I bought this 1980's house the living room has vibrant color to the walnut and oak flooring while the other rooms the color is dull and faded. (It's the same type of hardwoods.)

There's a product out there called reviver that a lot of homeowners have used to completely bring back their floors. You can probably find it at your local hardware store. Good luck!

At this point I would have them sanded down and refinished, 37 years is a long time to go without freshening up.
