Will a wood chair bottom scratch a vinyl plank floor?

I found that if I put those little stick on pads on the bottom of the chairs you're much better off. If sand gets between plastic that's on the bottom of the chair and the floor it can really do some damage. You can get those felltor fabric cushions for the chair bottoms at Home Depot they come in jumbo package of all different shapes and sizes I use them on all my furniture for my wood floors. And also please remember that you need to keep the sand away from it

I would apply felt pads to my chair legs. It is possible to scratch this flooring with repeated dragging of the chairs across the floor.

My wooden chairs have scratched my Saltillo tile, so I would imagine they could easily scratch vinyl too. I put those glides/slides onto the bottom of the legs. Works well.
