Where do you live?
I have seen the plant at Lowes, I actually have one that I just purchased.
I love lavender and have grown it for years. It is available at all of the big box home improvement stores. It is easy to grow and propagate and is winter hardy.

You can find plants at Lowe's or Home Depot & other garden centers as well as on EBay, etc. Better to buy them locally, you don't have to pay for shipping!
Price at Lowes here (PA) 1.25 qt container $6.98
I have seen Lavender for sale at Lowes and even Walmart. Home Depot sells it in form of seeds or online (1-3 Gallon pots). They do not seem to have the plants in stores.
