Any clue how to get rid of the plant snow on the mountain?

It has taken over everywhere-raspberry patch too!!

snow on the mountain is very invasive as you can tell the only way to get rid of it is to pull as much of the roots as possible and spray with vinegar if it is growing around other plants just continue pulling but do not spray with vinegar as it will kill those plants it is the only way i have found to be able to get rid of it, if you like it as a plant you can put it in a pot to control it just make sure you dead before it goes to seed

Unfortunately you will have to pull the snow on the mountain out. I would not spray the vinegar as it will get to the roots of the raspberries.

all I had to do to get rid of it was mow it down close to the ground, then mix up a gallon of water, 1 cup vinegar, and 2 teas of dish soap, it strips the tender shoots and killed it off completely hasn't come back at all. It's been 2 yrs, and that works on any weeds too. I always use it over a chemical.

raspberry bushes are very hardy and will come back no matter what, I had my back yard dug up for my deck footings and thought all the raspberry bushes were gone, I was wrong they are growing .

I would try ripping or even digging  it out close to the raspberry bushes, put a thick layer of news paper down, on top of the newspaper put a think layer of mulch,even leafs  if you have them in fall. I believe in mulching.

I would replant baby raspberry plants from your rows somewhere else...and mulch them....they will be producing a good crop by second yr....you should be setting new rows every yr to benefit from the plants full potential....get rid of the original row next yr. You will be surprised at how many raspberries you will get from new plants....the old canes should be cut back every yr and this yrs growth cut to a ft in Feb

I made up a 50/50 concentrate of vegitation killer. Then used a small paintbrush and daubed the Snow on the Mountain. It has been 3 weeks since application. It is all growing like crazy!!!!!! It is growing all through my special perrenial collection. Help!!!!!

You’ll have to move to a new house to rid yourself of this evil beast. I used round up - came back. I black plastic-ed the area for a season, then dug it all out (2 feet deep) tried to get all bits of root and brought in new dirt. It stayed away for maybe 4 years - but low and behold, like a bad penny, it’s back with a vengeance. Enjoy your new home!
