Arborvitae turning brown

by Baker
We have arborvitae that are turning brown. They are along a fence line and it is only in one section that this happens. Any advice or thoughts on reasons for this. Photos attached.

You probably have a fungus or a bug. Look closely and take a sample to your local nursery and see if they can help you.

The reason why arborvitae foliage turns brown ...The combination of wind sun freezing temperatures and lack of available water in winter can cause arborvitae foliage ( and the leaves of other evergreens as well ) to turn brown this happens because there dying out prune it in early spring prune before new growth conceals pruning cuts do not prune into that area I suggest you get a water timer feeder
