What plants sweetie? Can’t see them?

  • LOL Been there. I waited til they bloomed & then I knew what they were. Do you have a county agricultural extension agent run by your state university? How about a local nursery where you bought the seeds or the plant? A local garden club? Good luck.

They look like sage to me. Are the leaves slightly furry/velvety? Do they smell aromatic? They look healthy whatever they are.

I suggest taking them to a local, family run garden store. They are likely to know which big box store employees don't.

That plant is most likely a tradesecantia...of which there are several species that vary by growing zone...more commonly known as a wandering jew...which is rapid growing, vining houseplant and can be used outdoors in borders ( depending on your growing zone) and is related to the purple version that gets small pink flowers... what I have in my yard here in saint Augustine Florida, setcreasea or purple heart, or what I have heard some people call purple queen. Yours looks like the T. albiflora variety displaying 2-3in oblong leaves, a rapid grower that will trail and sprawl and thrives in well drained soil with ample water. It can be easily rooted at the joints and cuttings will root in water and can be transplanted. Can also be found in several variegated varieties( Rainbow, gold leaf )...but will turn solid green if not pinched back .
