Question about growing Carrot tops...
I know it's possible to cut the tops off carrots, place them in a saucer of water and they will sprout leafy fronds, we get children to do this in school, they love it! My question is, will the fronds continue to root and grow into carrots if they are planted in compost?

According to a article from gardening know how they will not produce carrots.
