you could be over watering pull off the yellow leaves and make sure you keep it watered
I got one for M.D. as well. It was doing the same thing. I planted it in the ground and then we got some rain. It looks much better.

Try miracid it is made by miracle grow .it work for me .Good luck .
If you are watering it a lot, try backing off, since yellow leaves usually indicate too much water. To find just the right amount, you already know how much is too much, so water it less, gradually. You don't want to give it too little and not know if the leaves are now yellow from too little, so take it slow.

If the leaves are turning yellow at the top, you’re not watering it enough, if at the bottom, your watering too much. When you do water, sit it in another dish or bucket and let it drink for about an hour, usually when you water a plant with this method, it will drink all it wants in about an hour, then through the remaining water out.
