
How do you get home grown lemon tree to produce lemons

First the tree needs to have flowers to produce fruit and they have to be pollinate. It takes a long time to to mature the tree enough to have flower. Call your local college or extension office and they can give you particulars for your locatio.Helpful Reply -

If you started the tree from seeds, chances are it will never produce. Typically a producing tree is grafted onto a none producing stock. I purchased two grapefruit trees whose grafts died from breakage in high winds. The stocks are lovely trees that I keep bush size, but they will never produce fruit.Helpful Reply -
