Almost certainly. If it's a foliage begonia, you can cut off a single leaf, lay it flat on top of starting soil, and put the stem first into your Rootone (I've heard cinnamon works, but I've never tried it) and then stick into the starting soil and hold it down with a bobby pin. If you are careful you can also start new plants from each point on the same leaf. And if anybody can spare a leaf of iron cross begonia, please send it to me
!
I would use a young but stiff branch of the begonia, about 6 to10" long, with at least two eyelets (where other stems or leaves attach) Dip this in Rootone and stick in the soil. I always take something like a pencil and make a hole for the stem first, and after inserting the cutting, firm the soil around it. This avoids damaging the cutting.
