Leaves have seven or eight points, Don't know why it varies. They drop off as new ones sprout. See

Take several books out from the library on house plants, and look at several books and see if you can find it. It will also tell you how to care for it. Look at the books first, and if you find one take it out. Good Luck!

Looks like a "Caster Bean" plant. I had these in my yard growing up in California, and was told the pods were poison if eaten. Check it out.

It looks like a castor bean . And if you had eaten that seed you would be dead . The castor bean plant is where the poison Ricin comes from .....it is extremely deadly poison .... If I were you I'd get rid of that plant ! Unless ya wanna kill something or someone . I'm not sure but it could be n the leaves as well ..... Ya better do some research . Someone might get accidentally poisoned . By touching it .

Aralia or Fatsia japonica. It is an outdoor plant that does very well in full/partial shade areas.

It's a castor bean plant. Be careful it's poisonous. Keep the beans away from kids
