Hi Carolyn, Are the leafs the same shape? I have never heard of a bush that has two completely different types of leafs. The branches and stalk remind me of a honeysuckle.
I have no idea what they are. The two have graft themselves together over time. Their branches have been intertwined at an early stage. From motion of the wind, rain, etc they connected. How wonderful to have them ! Be Blessed.
I can't really tell what the leaves look like. Can you shoot a close up of them ?

It's likely that the shrub was once a variegated version of the green. Variegated versions tend to revert if you don't cut off the parent green as they appear. I would suggest you take a photo and a piece of the parent (and variation, if you wish) to a nursery for identification.
From your photo it looks like a privet but I can't be sure.
Hi......Thank you all for your response.
I have taking a close up of the two leaves, I hope that helps !
The first one looks like Ficus and the second one looks like variegated rubber tree
Thanks Janet. I think I will take a sample to our local nursery and see what they say it is.
