My alzalea bush doesn't get bigger

I planted it over 19 years ago and feed it as the directions state on the alzalea fertilizer. It looks healthy and blooms it just doesn't seem to be any bigger than when I planted it. It gets sun all morning. I would appreciate any help. THANKS!!

I would check the acidity in the soil, you may be over applying the fertilizer or applying it at the wrong time

different. Variety of azaleas have a size they grow. If its 19 yrs old it had reached its height. Enjoy its blooms and keep taking care of it. Next time you want a plant check its expected height on the hang tag and buy according to the size you want
