What is causing my bougainvillea leaves to turning yellow & fall off?




Planted 3bmontgs ago, healthy soil, morning sunlight, weekly water....how do I solve this before it dies?

Bougainville is a plant frequently seen en masse in the Mediterranean areas. It requires full sun and very little water, with good drainage. Are you watering too often? Is it receiving sufficient sun ( you did not indicate your location) ?

It might be now that we are in fall, the cooler temps have caused the leaves to turn brown and drop, as seen on many trees.
Olivia makes some good points.
I would water it less than once a week. It doesn't need much water at all especially with fall upon us. During the fall and winter, it will yellow then drop leaves
