My yellow straight neck squash's blooms wither then turn black!



MY yellow straight neck squash has beautiful plants full of blooms. When they get a couple of inches long they start to wither up then tips turn black. What's up??

The first few blooms may be male. Look for the small bulge of ovaries where the blossom attaches to the stem...nothing is wrong.Helpful Reply -
