I would find out how much water it is supposed to be getting. Usually brown tips is a sign of water stress in plants- either too much or too little. Good luck!

Get a meter, they are around five dollars at home improvement stores garden departments. They can be a life saver if you have plants that have to dry out between waters and those that like to stay moist. Hubby takes care of the indoor plants, I have a black thumb for indoor plants. He uses the water meter and all our plants in the house are gorgeous and healthy.
