What's going on with my weeping willow tree?

Yesterday, I saw that it had whole lots of tiny holes around the bottom of the trunk.

It certainly sounds like some type of insect. If you can post a photo that would help.

You may want to have your soil tested.

Probably insects. Try spraying with insecticidal soap or Malathion.
