The biggest tip is making sure you have good soil. We usually go to a landscape business in town and get the "planter's mix" which is ready to go. Once I plant my plants in the garden I use Miracle Grow once a month to give them a little more nourishment.Helpful Reply -

Miracle grow also has a granular fertilizer that is extended release for tomatoes and vegetables. It lasts 3 months I believe. I put it down before I put down my leaf mulch and always have a great garden that is very fruitful.Helpful Reply -

Fertilizer should not be put in for a few weeks after planting.Use a good garden soil by miracle grow,amend as necessary then use miracle for tomatoes etc.Helpful Reply -
