Why are the leaves on my spiderwort turning yellow.

The leaves are turning yellow, I can't see any evidence of insects. It is still blooming beautifully.

Sounds like improper watering
possibly too much water
it may be time to add better drainage for the roots. I concur with too much water being a factor. Sometimes salts and other sediments affect water uptake and how it gets to all parts of the plant.
