there is nothing cheep about lawn repair.how big is the area?
How about putting a bird bath, a sun dial, a gazing ball, a cement lion, a child’s tent or tepee, a garden swing, hanging baskets on flower hooks, a bbq grill, cactus plants, pots of artificial flowers, or a dog house over it? Go garage-saleing with an open mind and $10 (or $20) and see what you came home with. Best wishes ☺️
Spray paint? Seriously, they do make some spray called green it I think It’s what they use to spray Christmas trees at these tree farms. Yep you guessed it. Christmas trees aren’t really a pretty green at all.
You can repair it! https://www.thespruce.com/repair-bare-patch-on-lawn-2153035
Or maybe turn it into a rock garden area?
Carolyn, since you are renting, I am wondering who is responsible for regular lawn care ? You or the landlord?
And do you know why there is a bald spot? Has it not had the proper maintenance done to it?
you will have to apply a few inches of top soil, lime, grass seed for your hardiness zone, starter fertilizer, top with peat moss and keep moist until germinated.
You can buy grass seed for patching in. It works very well.
