Celosia: Leaves Damage? assume some type of insect.. what to do/spray? Could it be wind damage from past couple storms?

Douglas Hunt on Jul 03, 2012It is probably an insect, Jim, but it could just as easily be a beneficial one as a not. Of course the best thing would be to catch one in action: You might try looking early in the morning or late in the day. Otherwise, I always recommend starting with the least toxic course of action, which would be a good insecticidal soap.Helpful Reply

Jim Ginas on Jul 03, 2012Thanks Doug. Looked it up online and read some about it. LOWES also sells it. I just left lOWES! I'll go back tonight or tomorrow and get it. The plants were just planted about 3-4 weeks ao and doing so well, hate to see insects eating away at them.Helpful Reply
